ABOUT REBECCA O’LEARY

Rebecca O'Leary is a Philadelphia-based Art Consultant and Creative Strategist specializing in art programming and placemaking solutions for corporate, institutional, and nonprofit organizations. With 20 years of experience on both the East and West Coasts, she has provided curatorial, strategic, and business development services to a diverse range of clients, including Capital One, Temple University, Art Miami, the Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk, Fred Segal, and the Frederick Weisman Art Collection.

A second-generation U.S. citizen from an immigrant family, Rebecca is the first in her family to receive a formal education beyond elementary school. A stroke of good fortune granted her a fully funded Quaker education, where she was introduced to the values of community, equality, integrity, peace, service, social justice, and stewardship. Without a family support system to rely on, these principles became the foundation that guided her path. At 16, she took her first job in the creative sector at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, working weekends and evenings selling recorded tours to visitors for the Annenberg Collection. It was there that she first witnessed the transformative power of art education. Since then, she has remained dedicated to elevating and engaging others through art, education, and public service.

Rebecca studied art history at New York University and has a bachelor's degree in Political, Legal and Economic Analysis from Mills College.
